Oil on canvas, 24" x 34"

Reposting this painting from Winter/Spring 2008. This photo is a little more accurate. Left the old one up as well; don't know how to move comments.

Since finishing the longer painting below, I've been doing some small quick ones. This was one session.

Oil on canvas, 24" x 34", 2008

I was sick for a long time. This is my first painting since starting to get better. It's not a professional photo (obviously), like the ones below, but I thought I'd put it up for now. It was a long painting, maybe 25-30 sessions.

I did these at my old studio in DUMBO. My friend, Tony Scherr, used them on his new album, "Twist in the Wind." The painting on the album cover is also mine. That was the view from my window looking under The Manhattan Bridge. These photos were taken by Edwina Stevenson. The color is as close to perfect as I've ever seen.
