that was how you described getting the view of Lady Liberty from the Red Hook studio, I seem to recall. have you have a thing for real estate with oblique views of famous bits of skylines? (This is great!!)

ReplyDeleteEldi, hi. Close. It was the view under the Manhattan Bridge that I had to look obliquely to see in my old studio in DUMBO. The Red Hook ones of the Statue of Liberty I did outside on a pier. But the view is actually much more open in the new place -- it's just to actually see across and up the river to this view I do have to sit all smashed against the wall, almost in the corner, so no room to back up and see the painting. Could do worse, tho.

Yeah, sure, that's what I meant-- you still say album cover for cd's, rather than record cover (showing my age there!)
