Oil on canvas, 16" x 20"
Tugboat in dry dock through studio window

  1. Hey Nomi, strangely I missed to follow you on 'Paintings' so far, it is as exciting as 'Not painting'!

This painting shares similar warmth as some fantastic Edward Hopper paintings. Loved it!

  2. Debu, glad you are here.

I have one painting, from when I was still in school, a street scene, that is very Hopper-y. It's at my mom's house. Will try to remember to photograph it. Was not thinking about Hopper at all, but it sure looks like I was.

  3. I get chills looking at this ... something to do with the colours running down the window's frame edge and the way that they announce the rest of the painting . Beautifully drawn with paint . I really Like this , its solid and very very satisfying to look at, in that - I wish I had painted it. On top of your game !

  4. makes me feel good
