This is out the window of my studio. It's the same window that appears in other recent paintings. There's a dry dock out there, the oldest still-in-use dry dock in The United States.
but if anything i should be a tree and be part of one of those landscapes like the ones from 2008...they are like music being composed with a brush . So completely natural

the pale cool colors remind me of both crazy cool early spring and a damp tropicalness simultaneously.
window and DRY DOCK are both food for thought.
Double Trouble.
There are enigmas in both panes. You paint what you see. Just enigmatic truth.
Lots to love. Lots to think about.

I really enjoy when your landscapes begin to verge on abstraction.
Thank you, goodeats. And thank you, anonymous.
I really want to know who you are, anonymous. Just saying.
re: I really want to know who you are, anonymous.
Sorry about that. Generally post comments anonymously because leaving a link to a blog is not really of importance to me.
addendum...
though I like it when others leave a link. That's how I found your blog (via comments on Ananba)
Why don't you want your own blog found?
Oh, one of my comments from yesterday (?) didn't post. It was something like "oh, it's you!" There.
I like this one. It transmits a rare sensation.
Adiós.
Thank you, Ezequiel Wierna.
could you post some more of your work please ?
Could you come sit for me, vincenthawkins? I need a patient model who will work for free indefinitely. Nudity not necessary.
Oh, yes, you would be fabulous. Or at least that fellow in your profile picture would be.
(I have have more recent work here: http://notpaintings.blogspot.com/)
oh i would just love to sweetheart... just think.. a trip to NY to sit for a portrait with that view behind me and those wonderful colours you use !
I suppose I'd have to at least pay your fair and feed you . .. . hmm.
Oh, that should probably be "fare" not fair. Though, maybe fair is fair too.

Wow, thank you. Those were one-session paintings.
Beautiful tones in this glass with excellent texture, very nice indeed.
Beautiful colors and composition .. I would love to see this in real life, kind of a large canvas~
Thank you, Josh Walden. Yes, kind of a large canvas for me.
