That was fog on the window, or condensation. Or ice? Not actually snow, anyway.
I think I had a tiny Charles Burchfield moment here which is a minor miracle. Really only talking about the zigzags on the edge of the condensation. Well...he also painted views of houses from a similar era, but it was the zigzags.
