I did these at my old studio in DUMBO. My friend, Tony Scherr, used them on his new album, "Twist in the Wind." The painting on the album cover is also mine. That was the view from my window looking under The Manhattan Bridge. These photos were taken by Edwina Stevenson. The color is as close to perfect as I've ever seen.

I like these paintings.......good stuff.
ReplyDeleteI like these, especially the first one. The modeling on the madonna is especially nice. I like your choice of colors for the lit and shaded and lit-by-reflected-light areas. Juxtaposing the two symbols of the middle ages, both as statues (something preserved, not current) was great.
